Still lost in space on a mining ship called Red Dwarf, Dave Lister (Craig Charles) is the last human in the universe, accompanied by a service bot named Kryten (Robert Llewellyn); Cat (Danny John-Jules), a descendent of Lister’s pregnant house cat; Rimmer (Chris Barrie), a hologram of Lister’s best friend; and Holly (Norman Lovett), the ship’s supercomputer.
